Waitaki

Waitaki parish is made up of three congregations, Eveline in Oamaru and Papakaio and Tokarahi in the country.

We take our mission statement seriously - "Sharing Christ's Love in the Community."

We spend an afternoon a month cooking one on one with children from the local intermediate school and working to support the clients of the Presbyterian Support Social Workers.

We have established a group called North Otago Tongan Engagement [NOTE], whose goal is to help break down the barriers between the Palagi and Tongan people of North Otago, by engaging in activities together. In 2016 we raised $25,000 and took a team of 22 to Tonga, where we installed six water tanks in three villages.
