Mosgiel Children and Families Vacancy
Children and Families Ministry Coordinator/Worker
We are seeking someone to design and deliver children and families’ programmes in our parish for 10 hours per week or 20 hours a fortnight. This a paid position accountable to the Session through the Parish Minister.
The person we are looking for will have the following qualities:
- A passion for children and families and a pastoral heart to see children grow in their relationship with Christ
- A relational person who brings people together and builds people up
- Previous experience in children and families work is preferred (or relevant experience)
- Know and work within the code of ethics for those engaged in pastoral ministry in the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand
- Some administration and reporting ability
- A current driver’s licence and access to the transport for work use.
The ability to identify, coordinate and deliver child and family programmes will be the key to success in this role.
