Our attendance on a Sunday is between 16 and 23, and has grown in the past year. We are in good heart.
We have been a mainly older congregation, but have gained one or two younger people.
We have a young family who keeps us loosely connected to the play school next door and the primary school uses our car park so there is a connection there as well.
Along with the Anglican church we run a Music & Movement group for under fives in the Rolfe room at the Port Chalmers Library.
Afternoon Tea on Tuesday at Emmanuel Church at 2:00pm during term time.
Rumpus Room at Emmanuel Church is on the 2nd and 4th Friday from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.
Brownies and Pippins meet at Emmanuel Church on Wednesdays from 4:00pm to 7:30pm.
An active Craft group meets at Emmanuel every second Monday.
The Sawyers Bay Garden Club meets once a month in our hall.
We are not using the Iona Church anymore, but if you require their address it is 20 Mount St, Port Chalmers 9023.
